And there werent' many. Dave's Diamondbacks, Jason's Jackknives, the Russets, the Runnin' Gunnins, the Mesocyclones, and the Shiznits, who could least afford to, stood pat.

the Cheaters -- Released pitchers Aaron Harang and Esteban Loaiza, outfielder Rob Mackowiak, and 1st baseman Todd Helton. Signed pitchers Chad Cordero of the Washington Nationals, B.J. Ryan of the Baltimore Orioles, 1st baseman Mark Teixera of the Texas Rangers, and outfielder Grady Sizemore of the Cleveland Indians.
Tuck's Friars -- Signed pitcher Chris Carpenter of the St. Louis Cardinals and outfielder Hideki Matsui of the New York Yankees. Released Jose Cruz, Jr.
the Runnin' Gunnins -- Placed pitcher Roy Halladay on the disabled list.
Jason's Jackknives -- Activated pitcher Curt Schilling off the disabled list. Released pitcher Jamie Moyer.
