Jason's Jackknives -- Placed outfielder J.D. Drew on the disabled list. Activated outfielder Magglio Ordonez, 2nd baseman Jose Vidro, shortstop Carlos Guillen, and 1st baseman Mike Sweeney off the disabled list. Moved 2nd baseman Khalil Greene to shortstop. Released shortstop Carlos Guillen.
the Mesocyclones -- Released catcher Michael Barrett. Activated catcher Ramon Hernandez and pitcher Mark Prior. Released pitcher Glendon Rusch. Declared outfielder Corey Patterson ineligible (optioned to Iowa). Signed outfielder Jeromy Burnitz of the Chicago Cubs.
the Shiznits -- Placed 1st baseman Jim Thome on the disabled list.
Tuck's Friars -- Placed pitcher Oliver Perez on the disabled list.
the Cheaters -- Activated 2nd baseman Aaron Miles and released him..
