the Runnin' Gunnins -- Activated pitcher Kris Benson from the disabled list. Released pitcher Jeremy Bonderman.
The Russets -- Declared pitcher Steve Karsay of the New York Yankees inactive.
The Shiznits -- Placed 1st baseman Jim Thome on the disabled list.
Tuck's Friars -- Released catcher Mike Piazza. Signed catcher Gregg Zaun of the Toronto Blue Jays

The Russets now have only three pitchers in their rotation, and should explain why they're sinking like the world's respect for Resident Bush.
