Tuck's Friars -- Released 3rd baseman David Wright (effective April 15) and 2nd baseman Chris Burke (effective April 18). Placed outfielder Jose Cruz, Jr. on the disabled list. Signed 3rd baseman Joe Randa of the Cincinnati Reds and 2nd baseman Brian Roberts of the Baltimore Orioles, and outfielder Xavier Nady of the San Diego Padres.

Jason's Jackknives -- Placed outfielder Magglio Ordonez on the disabled list. Signed outfielder J.D. Drew of the Los Angeles Dodgers
