The Mesocyclones -- Placed pitchers Steve Trachsel and Ryan Dempster on the disabled list. Released outfielder Rocco Baldelli and 3rd baseman Aramis Ramirez. Signed pitchers Joe Kennedy and Chad Gaudin of the Oakland A's.
Tuck's Friars -- Placed 2nd baseman Ian Kinsler on the disabled list.
The Cheaters -- Re-signed 2nd baseman Jose Vidro of the Seattle Mariners. Released 2nd baseman Marcus Giles by order of the Office of Commissioner Gimpy for violation of the salary cap.
The PDs -- Released pitcher Chris Capuano.
Cameron's Crazies -- The Office of Commissioner Gimpy has declared Ken Griffey, Jr. ineligible because of the salary cap. All points accumulated by Griffey from May 23-June 2 have been deducted for each day it was counted in his team’s total, including the weekly total. The deductions did not impact the standings on any of these dates, so no adjustment was made to the standings.
